Each scarf is individually printed - the process includes placing plant material onto the fabric, bundling it up, and steaming to create a pattern. Some plants are printed flat (eco-printing), others are dried and sprinkled on to create a mosaic-like pattern (bundle printing). 

Care Instructions
Wash in cold water with like colors and a mild, pH-neutral detergent (e.g., Seventh Generation). Air dry in the shade.

  • Indigo-dyed items may be prone to crocking. 
  • Avoid excess sunlight exposure.
  • Avoid contact with highly acidic or alkaline liquids (e.g., lemon juice, cleaning agents). 

Hand dyeing and natural dyeing are not intended to create 100% solid color and may take darker or lighter in areas. This is part of the appeal of natural dyeing as it provides a lived-in, earthy color.
