Care Tips for a Long Life Wash in cool water with like colors and a mild, pH-neutral detergent (ex., Seventh Generation). Tumble dry low or hang dry to prolong cotton and natural dye quality. Avoid contact with cleaning products and acidic liquids (ex., lemon juice) to prevent discoloration. Indigo can be prone to fading or crocking (color transfer with friction) – avoid excess sunlight to protect colors. Best practice for removing stains is to soak in cold soapy water overnight (pH-neutral), do not scrub stains, and then proceed with normal washing.
